All five teams at Beverley Town Cricket Club were in action this weekend as the club resumed the latest round of fixtures.
While the first team saw their game abandoned, there were wins for the fourth and fifth teams who won their games with ease.

Beverley ARLC have extended their lead at the top of the National Conference League to fours after they over came a testing encounter with Millom.
Ahead of this game Beverley had feared it would prove a difficult game however they never materialised as the Blue & Golds eased to 28-20 win.

Beverley Town Cricket Club U11s got their new season underway as they welcomed Sutton to the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Our cameras were there to capture the first innings of the season for Beverley. The youngsters showed great batting skills against the tricky bowling of Sutton.

Paralympian Martine Wright, MBE, who lost both of her legs during the 7th July 2005 bombing in London, has been announced as the guest speaker at this year’s Women of Achievement Awards 2018.

Stunning Open Bridges Film Showcase At Beverley Art Gallery
A ‘stunning and unique’ film documenting the day Hull was split in two by the Open Bridges project will be screened in the Art Gallery at Beverley’s Treasure House this month.
The 20-minute film, which is free to view and open to the public in normal gallery hours, will be on continuous loop until mid-June as part of a new display.
Care Home Residents Enjoy A VIP Day At Beverley Races
Claremont House care home in Beverley say they were thrilled when they received a VIP invite to Beverley Racecourse to attend their By Gone Beverley event on Bank Holiday Monday.
Claremont House were one of three Beverley Care Homes to be invited to the event, which had a 1960s theme. Beverley Community Lift provided the transport for Claremont House residents.

Beverley Town Reserves clinched the title on the final day of the season with a 4-2 win over Holme Rovers at Longcroft School.
Town, started the game knowing that a point would be enough to secure the title though started poorly and found themselves two down inside the first ten minutes.

A fund-raising day held by Beverley Market traders raised more than £2,000 for the Daisy Appeal at Castle Hill Hospital.
Families took part in a children’s treasure hunt and there were great prizes on offer donated by businesses from Beverley and the surrounding area in a grand raffle and a tombola at the event in Saturday Market on Saturday 5 May.
