Post Office managers are currently ‘consulting.roposals to transfer the town’s postal services to the high street stationer. The post office has been operating from its current site for over 100 years.

As part of its programme of highway maintenance works, East Riding of Yorkshire Council is carrying out essential carriageway improvement works on the A1038 Kingsgate between Wilsthorpe Roundabout and Kingston Road, Bridlington.
The works began on Monday, 7 January 2019 and are expected to be completed in six weeks (weather permitting).
A community art installation at Beverley’s Flemingate centre is spreading messages of hope and peace for the year ahead.

Hull Maritime Museum is set to receive new ramps improving access to its main entrance of the striking building.
Hull City Council has successfully bid for £150,000 funding from the DCMS Wolfson Foundation to install two new access ramps and an access staircase to one of the three domes.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has received National Lottery funding of £8,943 which will be used to deliver the ‘Serves Tennis’ programme in Withernsea.
