This was more like it. After a below-par performance at Altrincham the previous week Beverley RUFC got back to their good form of recent weeks and secured a fine win against fifth placed Birkenhead Park.

A good turnout on Saturday 4th February from the under 14/ 15 s Junior section of Beverley RUFC saw them venture out in the freezing temperatures to raise funds for their up and coming tour to Leicester in March.

This match was arranged at very short notice so it was left to skipper Jeff Worrall to cobble together a make-shift team of Beverley Veterans.
After a few weeks without a match it was good to see the team on with a fixture. They travelled to Hornsea to play another developing side.
This was rugby at its best. A cracking match in which the lead changed hands five times and the result remained in doubt until the final whistle.
