Beverley Beaver Pigeon Club held their end of season awards at Hodgsons. The top prize went to Phil Whitehead and his Vandenbeele flock. Phil has forty six birds in total; thirty two of them are for racing while the remainder are kept for breeding. A ‘Crime Scene Investigation Night’ was held at The Woolpack Inn on Tuesday night. The event was organised by the proprietor of the Woolpack Kim McKenna. The participating teams had to solve crimes and identify murderers using clues, interviews with witnesses, and forensic evidence.
