Funding Approved For Cherry Burton Sportsfield Pavilion Upgrade

Members of all the sports clubs using the sportsfield in Cherry Burton are set to benefit from the existing changing rooms being refurbished along with a new female changing room, thanks to a £33720 grant from FCC Communities Foundation. 

The money will be used to provide new showers, toilets and easy clean walls and flooring.

Graham Stuart, the local MP for Beverley and Holderness, has welcomed that people in the East Riding will be able to apply for Government grants to deliver gigabit-capable broadband in more rural areas.

Local residents will be able to apply for grants of up to £3,000 to get their houses connected, while small businesses can get up to £7,000 of help.
