South Cave United Will Give Us Tough Match Says

South Cave United will provide a tough match for , according to gaffer Rich Jagger.

Jagger will be looking to his side to show the form that did last weekend when they beat Sculcoates Amateurs to progress in the league cup.

Last time out Town looked like a different side as they eased into the next round of the cup with Michael O’Connell giving a midfield master class.

Saturday’s game at Norwood will see town return to Humber Premier League action. It will be their first league game since moving back to Norwood.

Speaking ahead of the game Jagger said;

“We are missing three or four for Saturday’s game. However, this will give others an opportunity to step up into the squad.” 

“We have a strength in depth so I am still confident we can build on last weekend’s performance.”

“South Cave will be a tough opponent, and one that has traditionally caused us problems, but we are in a decent place and we’ll be equipped to get something from the game.”

Jagger has already said their next few fixtures will be key in determining how their league campaign pans out.

Beverley Town is currently eight points ahead of Sought Cave United in the Humber Premier League table. Town also goes into the match having scored more and conceded fewer goals.

In the last five games between the clubs, the results have been even. Beverley Town has two wins as do South Cave United with the other game ending in a draw.

 Dan Mchale will available for selection having served his one-match ban for a red card he picked up against .

South Cave United will arrive at the Norwood Recreation Ground having won just once in their last seven league games.

However United will approach the match with confidence having beat Town 3-0 when they met last season in January.
