At 9.30am today, (Wednesday September 9), a cyclist was in collision with a white pick-up truck on Swinemoor Lane near to the Aldi Store in Beverley.
Both the cyclist and truck were travelling from the Grovehill Road junction towards the Hull Bridge Road junction.
The cyclist, a 69-year-old Woodmansey man, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to call 101 with information and refer to log 115 of September 9.
