Local Student Wins Crown At Beauty Pageant

A student studying in Beverley is celebrating after a successful time at Miss Community Beauty Pageant.

The competition was well attended and everyone had a really great day, all the girls performed really well and looked beautiful.

But Beverley student Hannah Hunter stood out from the rest, she won the crown for 1st runner up for the title Miss Community United Kingdom and also received the crown and title Miss Community Charity 2011-2012  for all of her good works raising money for the charity Cancer Research.

Hannah told HU17.net

“Miss community was a great experience where I had to organize events to raise money for charity, take part in a talent contest and the beauty pageant was the final.”

“The whole thing was hard work and I was a bit nervous, but I have gained confidence performing to a crowd and speaking in public”.

“With My titles both 1st runner up and charity I will be available to be involved in cancer research events, promotions and other events by contacting misshuntermodel@yahoo.co.uk”

Hannah’s dress was sponsored by The Fairy Godmothers of Ladygate Beverley.

Owner Janette Clennett said ” we are very proud of Hannah she worked really hard to get this title and looked absolutely stunning” Hannah is pictured in one of the new range of evening/prom dresses from The Fairy Godmothers.
