East Yorkshire, the Hull-based bus company has announced a £6m investment in new buses to help transform bus travel in Hull and Scarborough.
The order will put 8 brand new single deck buses and 19 double deck buses on the streets of East Yorkshire. All of the new vehicles meet the highest Euro 6 environmental standards and helping keep our air clean and free from pollution.

The Advantage Coast Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme is a £6.9 million investment from the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund and is managed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council in partnership with Scarborough Borough Council, and aims to support less affluent communities within Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey.
Seabirds breeding along the Yorkshire coast will be afforded additional protection, following the expected designation of a new Marine Protected Area (MPA) around Flamborough and Filey.
The Flamborough and Filey Coast Special Protection Area (SPA) will build on existing designations along this internationally-important stretch of coastline to ensure further protection for the UK’s largest mainland seabird colony, both on the cliffs and within inshore waters.
