A Molescroft resident, Glynn Barker has reason to celebrate after they won the Wilburn Trophy at the Haltemprice Art exhibition.
Held at the held at the Civic Hall, Cottingham, Mr. Barker becomes the 65th artist to win the award at the Haltemprice Art Exhibition.
His entry a painting entitled ‘Robin Hood’s Bay’ was selected by the public who were able to vote for the best exhibit.
Mr. Barker was presented with the trophy at the Beverley Guildhall by the Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Peter Turner.
