East Yorkshire Cross Country League ‘Race 5 Welton’

The penultimate race in the East Yorkshire Cross Country League took place at Welton last Sunday.  Over a hundred athletes from local running clubs tackled a very muddy 5-mile course through Welton Dale. Cross Country Championships Witton Park Blackburn

Saturday 23rd January saw the Northern Cross Country Championships being held in Blackburn, Lancashire, with a group of fifteen athletes from Beverley Athletic Club travelling across the country to take part in the event and to represent their club. The third race of the East Yorkshire Cross Country League was hosted by Scarborough AC at Langdale End last Sunday.  Heavy rain during the week resulted in lots of mud and very sticky conditions.
