A group of mums who have children at Beverley Minster Primary School is running a series of races to try and raise £1,500 to buy new play equipment for their school.
They are hoping to run a total of 250 miles between them over the next few months.
8 mums from a Beverley school will be taking part in Hull marathon this weekend to try and inspire their own children and raise much-needed funds for their school.
They have been training throughout the year running various 10k races and a half marathon in preparation for the challenge.
Children Beverley Minster Primary School are set to get smart new sports kit thanks to the efforts of 12 cyclists which included their head teacher completed a 60-mile bike ride.
