The nights are drawing in, there is a definite chill in the air, conkers are falling – it’s that time of year again and Halloween is fast approaching. To celebrate this highlight in the calendar of countless children, something spooky is coming to Beverley on Saturday 26th October.
With Halloween and Bonfire night looming, the recently appointed Police Sergeant Mark Skelton his brought his specialist team to Withernsea and Beverley for the next 12 weeks.
Halloween Night in Beverley was a colourful affair with staff from Lucia Wine Bar & Grill dressing up for evening while over the road at The Beaver Pub, a Halloween Party and disco was held with plenty of costumes, some scarier than others, were on show.
Tickton Pre School & Play Pals held a Halloween disco at Tickton Village Hall. Around 160 people attended and the adults joined in the fun dressing up in Halloween costumes.
The dark nights are well and truly upon us and Halloween and mischief night are just around the corner. During this time, householders may experience the seasonal problems associated with these events which may be perceived as anti-social behaviour.
The Green Dragon will be hosting a Real Ale Festival starting on the 31st October running through till the 7th November. In total there will be around 25 different ales on over the week and they hoping to have nine ales on at any one time.

Last week ghosts, ghouls and witches gathered to sing and dance to spooky songs at special Halloween themed Music Time sessions across East Yorkshire.
