Foster Care Fortnight runs from 10-23 May and would normally be a time for East Riding of Yorkshire Council to organise drop-in sessions and information events for anybody interested in fostering.

Funeral Service Restriction Changes Welcomed By Local Business

News that the cap on the number of people that can attend funeral services is to be removed has been welcomed by local firm Frank Stephenson & Son Funeral Directors.

As part of the next steps in easing restrictions, the legal cap of 30 people attending a funeral will be scrapped a month earlier than planned. From 17 May there will be no restrictions on the number of people who can attend.
