Luxury Car Entrepreneur Gears Up To Create PPE Face Masks For Vulnerable

An East Yorkshire luxury vehicle cleaning entrepreneur has turned his premises into a PPE workshop using his tools to create face masks to donate to care homes and pharmacies in need.

Harry Hall, who is the founder and managing director of Attention to Detail (ATD), has teamed up with his firm’s paint protection manufacturer to create specialist face shields to protect vulnerable people from the Coronavirus pandemic that his hit the UK this year.

East Riding businesses who provide goods and services to the local retail, leisure and hospitality industry and have so far failed to secure Government grants during the COVID-19 pandemic may now be eligible to apply for new funding.

Minimum grants of £5,000 are being made available to those eligible businesses directly involved in the supply chain to those in the retail, leisure and hospitality sector and who have a rateable value of more than £15,000 and less than £51,000.

Bridlington Park And Ride Buses And Land Trains Will Start On 4 July

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced that the popular Bridlington Park and Ride bus service will start on Saturday, 4 July, and will run until early November, seven days a week.

Whilst the COVID-19 restrictions are in place, customers will have to wear a face-covering if they wish to travel on the Park and Ride. There will also be reduced capacity on the Park and Ride buses to ensure social distancing.
