This was an extraordinary game of rugby. Littered equally with mistakes and champagne rugby from the Beavers it was nevertheless an exciting game with, eventually, the right outcome. The Hornsea 1/3 Marathon attracted a record entry this year and raised much needed funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. 271 runners completed the 8.7 mile road race organised by the Rotary Club of Hornsea and East Riding.
