The Eager Beaver played Bransholme in a Pre-Season friendly at Longcroft School this weekend. Despite leading with just 20 minutes to go, the Eager Beaver lost the game 4 – 2, the turning point being a penalty awarded to Bransholme. Walkington CC slumped to a 7 wicket defeat against North Dalton on Saturday in the East Riding Independent Cricket League. Walkington started the match well and looked to be on course to posting a good score but failed to capitalise on their position at 86/1.
