B&A Scaffolding Beverley 2K Results & Times 2011

The 2011 Beverley 10k was supported by the B&A Scaffolding 2k fun run from Beverley Leisure Centre which attracted a field of 234 runners including Bertie the Beaver and Roary the Tiger. Darran Bilton stormed to another victory in the Hall Construction Beverley 10k today. Thousands of supporters lined the streets of Beverley to cheer on athletes from Beverley AC, the East Riding and beyond. Beverley 10K: Road Closures and Parking Restrictions

The annual Beverley 10k road race takes place this Sunday and motorists will experience delays in and around the town, in particular in the area around the leisure centre, Wednesday Market and Lairgate. Lucas Meagor Completes Third Marathon

Last Sunday Lucas Meagor of Beverley Athletic Club completed the third of his series of four marathons in four weeks in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.  After running the first 21km of the race in Limerick in 1:39:06 he slowed down in the second half of the race and finished in 3:46:05 – his fastest time in the series so far. The final race takes place in Skopje, Macedonia, on Sunday.

Kristian Davis First Runner Back For Beverley @ Brantingham Hill

54 hardy runners tackled the Brantingham Hill Race on Good Friday, seven of them from Beverley Athletic Club. This challenging 7.3 mile race is organised by East Hull Harriers and tests the stamina of runners on the hilly terrain between Elloughton and Mount Airy Farm. Lucas Meagor of Beverley Athletic Club completed the first of his series of four marathons in four weeks last weekend in Paris. Running in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Meagor completed the 26.1 mile course in 3 hours 53 minutes and 9 seconds. Beverley Runners Fair Well in Sunny Berlin

Great weather for spectators made the 31st Berlin Half-Marathon a tough challenge for runners who had to cope with temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius, rising to over 30 out on the road.
