Road Sweepings to be Composted

Road sweepings from some of the East Riding’s streets and roads are now being sent for composting to keep it out of landfill. The sweepings, including leaf fall, soil and paper litter, are collected by East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s street sweeping vehicles and gully waste vehicles.
