A famous chef and a leading symbol software company have collaborated to bring a Hull teacher’s cookery initiative for pupils with learning difficulties to fruition.

With the permission of publishers, Bloomsbury Absolute, designers at Widgit Software symbolised recipes from Tom Kerridge’s best-selling cookery book, Lose Weight and Get Fit for pupils at Ganton School and the wider community.

Pioneering Research Is First In UK To Transform Imaging For Infants With Congenital Heart Disease

The Leeds Children’s Hospital’s Congenital Heart Unit is the first in the United Kingdom to undertake pioneering research addressing challenges in the diagnosis and monitoring of infants with congenital heart disease.

The project aims to establish a new approach to imaging these patients by using a 4D Flow MRI prototype software from Siemens Healthineers, reducing scan time to under ten minutes whilst infants sleep in an MRI safe incubator.
