Beverley To Host Armed Forces Weekend In Conjunction With Transport School

This summer the Defence School of Transport will celebrate its 80th year of operations in the East Riding of Yorkshire as part of the Armed Forces weekend.

Members of the public will be invited to Normandy Barracks on Saturday 1 July 2017 to see behind the scenes of the world’s largest military driving school.

With help of pupils aged between 4 to 6 years old, Mrs. Garness is helping create the work that is based around the school’s values of ‘Curiosity, Creativity, Respect, Perseverance, Community and Honesty.’

Humberside Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with the theft of an ice cream van.

Stolen last month the ice cream van in question is branded as ‘French’s and was taken from a local farm in Beverley.
