In a true show of community spirit, families from Cherry Burton and beyond gathered at the Humber Bridge last weekend to take part in a sponsored bike ride across the bridge to raise vital funds for local charity Cherry Burton Pre-school.
Despite a ferocious wind, supporters of this local charity in ages ranging from one year old to 73 years old, battled across the bridge on bikes, trikes, scooters and on foot, to the finish line where they were greeted by family and friends.
