Residents of Hull and East Yorkshire are invited to get involved in an exciting social history exhibition, coming soon to the Treasure House in Beverley.
The exhibition Our Histories Revealed, which will open in May, 2018, is part of the wider project Africans in Hull and East Yorkshire, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Residents in Hull are being given the chance to have their say on plans to improve access to GP services. These proposals would make more appointments available outside of normal GP practice opening hours.
NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is to use funding from NHS England to offer additional appointments in the evenings and over weekends. If these plans go ahead the extra provision would be available from 2019.

On a fine, dry day Hullensians kicked off and immediately mounted an attack down the left flank. This was thwarted by some sound defending by Beverley but they were unable to make much headway into the Hullensians half initially and play was mostly concentrated on the Beverley 22.
On 7 minutes Hullensians were awarded a penalty which was successfully converted to give them a 3-0 lead. Despite the two sides looking to be pretty evenly matched, Beverley were unable to gain much possession and Hullensians were proving to be very good at retaining the ball. From rambles and themed walks (including photography, navigation, bushcraft, geocaching and orienteering) to wildlife watching events; from Kids Go Wild events to workshops, conservation days and natural craft workshops – the programme includes something for everybody with an interest in the outdoors.
