In advance of the full programme release in early April, the ArtWaves Festival has today announced a special workshop by award-winning artist Richard Allen, as part of the fifth annual event taking place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2019.

ArtWaves is a vibrant festival of traditional, digital, contemporary and urban art allowing artists from beginners to experts to try something different or master a skill in this year’s exciting programme of workshops, demonstrations, talks, exhibits and more.

High Proportion Of Year Six Pupils Assigned School Of Choice

More than nine out of ten Year 6 children in the East Riding have been awarded places for the school named by parents as their first choice in the 2019/20 secondary school admissions round.  

Letters to parents, informing them of the outcome of their applications for secondary school places in September 2019, are being sent out today, Friday 1st March.  This is known as ‘National Offer Day’ and is the date that all local authorities in England have to send the letters out to parents.
