FC Beverley travelled to East Hull for their first game in the Knock-Out Cup. All 19 players were back to full fitness and all available for selection for the first time this season.
Mill Lane United Yellows started the defence of the Lassa Tyres u14s Cup(previously Tesco Cup) with an emphatic victory against a brave Westella & Willerby side. Straight from the kick off it was one way traffic as Mill Lane United
Both teams played some entertaining football, but there was nothing to separate them in the first match as both teams conceded own goals leaving it all even going into the second match.
Howden entertained Beverley Whitestar Rams in the U14 Myton League. A fresh and breezy day greeted both teams, but the pitch was well-prepared and provided a great venue for good passing football. Beverley Town Beavers came from a goal down to beat Full Measure at Lecconfield Sports Club. Peter Savage opened the scoring for the visitors on ten minutes; Jon Burnett equalised for Town on the stroke of half time with the winner coming from Alex Thompson with just two minutes remaining in the game.
Inter Beaver made it three wins on the bounce today with an 8-1 away win against Saints B despite rumours of manager Lewis Jenkinson being considered for the Blackburn Rovers job.

Molescroft Rangers beat the Barrel Walkington 3 – 2 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Goals from Billy Pardoe and a brace from super sub Tony Walker earned the Rangers the points that see them move to third place in the East Riding County League
Beverley Whitestar Falcons beat the Brayton Belles seven nil to move second in the East Riding Girls Football League. Playing that the Beverley Leisure Centre Imogen Wright scored four goals while Lindsay Jordan bagged a hat trick.
Inter Beaver played Market Weighton in the cup and dominated from the start with Adam Foster beating the left back and squaring the ball for Mike Martyn to tap home.
Both teams severed up some entertaining football, this was AFC Tickton’s first home game of the season and it did not disappoint. AFC Tickton came back from an early goal to win the first match 2-1, to the delight of the coach.
Despite a difficult start to the season Athletico Promo went into this weekends cup fixture against Beverley Whitestar u20’s with quiet optimism. With progression being shown in both league games this season , Athletico wanted to get their first victory on the board.
