Libraries in East Yorkshire, including Beverley Library, will be hosting a series of events next month with ArtERY Live.

Every year, ArtERY Live brings the best in live performance to East Yorkshire, including dance, drama, music, and poetry. These performers will be performing at for the first time.

There is a range of ticket prices to choose from, ranging from free to £6, depending on the show. The tickets must be pre-booked, and it is expected that they will be snapped up quickly.

A spokesperson for said;

“We are excited to announce this partnership and offer the chance for our library customers and residents to see some fantastic live events, with something on offer for 3-year-olds up to 103-year-olds!” 

Beverley Library will host Hawk Dance . This will take place on 24 October from 2PM.

Come experience Hawk Dance Theatre’s exciting, interactive family performance using projection, dance, and storytelling.

This exciting, interactive family performance for children 3+ uses projection, dance, and storytelling.

There are three little penguins in the story: Pixel, Crash, and Click. There is a storm going on outside their igloo, and they are stuck inside it. 

They discover fun and adventure around every corner, splashing, skidding, and dancing their way through the storm

A fun, engaging workshop focuses on how can look after themselves, each other, and the environment while children interact with the performers and participate in the story.

Hawk Dance Theatre Will Be IN Beverley As Part Of  A Series Of Events

Founded in Manchester in 2011, Hawk Dance Theatre is an award-winning contemporary dance company under the direction of choreographer Josh Hawkins. 

Through performing arts, they hope to open up new possibilities and doors. 

Through dance and movement, HDT engages people within and also outside of their communities, provoking and enabling them to change their perspective of themselves and others. HDT produces powerful and visually dynamic productions for theatres, outdoor events, and digital platforms
