Bob Trice Mechanics will next year be marking 40 years of keeping motorists on the road in Beverley and surrounding villages.
Founded in April 1979, Bob Trice Mechanics are one of the longest established independent garages in the region.
Founded by Bob Trice, he says the secret to their success has been the level of service they have offered their clients for the past four decades.
Speaking to HU17.net Mr Trice said;
“From day one as a business, the customer has always come first. We understand how stressful it can be when your car is off the road. These days this is certainly the case. People lead much busier lives an need to be mobile.”
“To help customers we offer a free local collection service. We can also provide loan cars to ensure people are not off the road while we carry out work on their own vehicle.”
Employing seven people Bob Trice Mechanics have also invested in the next generation.
They currently have one apprentice. While in their workshop they have fully qualified mechanics who started with the company as apprentices.

A fully certified MOT Test Centre Bob Trice Mechanics also recently invested in a new website.
Commenting on his years in business Mr Trice said;
“It has not always been easy but it is an achievement everyone here at the workshop is proud of. By retaining our customers and bringing more onboard we hope we can be here for another forty years to come.”
