Beverley ARLC are back in action weekend as they look  to maintain their flying start to the season this Saturday when they entertain Salford City Roosters.

Beverley, who are top of the NCL with three wins from three will go head to head with the Roosters in the 2.30PM kick off at the .

Last time out Beverley won 25-14 as they beat Oldham St Annes to top the league table on points difference. Fans, who will be able to watch the game at The Potting Shed will certainly be behind Beverley and quietly confident of win.

Scott Taylor and his side go into this fixture as favourites to make it four wins in row against a Roosters side who have won just once so far.

Speaking ahead of the game Taylor was cautious of being too confident saying his side have taken their foot off the gas in the second half in one of our wins at Woolston, adding that one of these days a side is going to punish them for it.

Given their bright start to the season Taylor has been reluctant to change a winning side and it unless something drastic happens he is likely to  stick with the same squad.

However, Luke Shaw and Bobby Howdle are looking to come into contention for a place in the 17 after returning from prior commitments.

Beverley will be looking to the likes of , Pete Starling and Lewis Poskitt to continue their dominant displays this Saturday, in the match which is sponsored by Brooks Carpets.

Beverley’s Academy side are also in action this Saturday as they travel to Dewsbury to take on Shaw Cross Sharks in a Yorkshire Alliance Division 2 fixture.

Academy Coach, Phil Horsfield is looking to build on a very promising showing in a recent friendly away to East Hull gaining a very creditable 32-32 draw.

The Academy will be hoping Joe Morley and Sam Brown maintain their good early season form.
