The blue and golds final league fixture of the season away to York Acorn ‘A’ was conceded by the home side who were already bottom of the Yorkshire Premier Division.
York Acorn were unable to raise a side. It now means Beverley have finished fourth in the table and will therefore play away to the first placed side.
Beverley ARLC will travel to Bradford to face West Bowling in the semi-final of the play-offs this Saturday with a place in the final at Featherstone Rovers RLFC is at stake.
It will be an interesting match as the two sides have already fought two very close battles this season. Beverley defeated the West Riding outfit 15-14 at the Beverley Leisure Centre by virtue of a late drop-goal but lost 36-32 in the return fixture after surrendering a 20 point lead.
Since that defeat on 2 July Beverley have remained unbeaten so will go into the play-offs in a good run of form.
The other semi-final is likely to be between Sharlston and Doncaster Toll Bar but has yet to be confirmed.
