have endured a difficult season in terms of results however have been able to unearth some young talent within their junior ranks who have played with distinction during games they have appeared in.

Director of Rugby, Junior Tupai commented:

“It’s been a tough one after the last few years being promoted from North East Two and then finishing in the top four last year but at the same time, we’ve been able to develop some young players who have tasted a bit of National North rugby and have acquitted themselves really well. Ideally, this season was always going to be a bit early for them but due to injuries and unavailabilities, we’ve had to throw them in and they’ve done well”.

Morley have had a better season results wise having only been relegated in the last few weeks against Rossendale two weeks ago picking up 5 wins this season and have had a lot of success against Beverley on their home ground.

Tupai continued:

“For as long as I have been at the club, I have not won here at all and that’s about 8 years. I’m pretty confident, our record here previous to my arrival is pretty poor speaking to some of the supporters. Hopefully this Saturday, we can end the season on a high and also achieve what many Beverley teams have failed to do”.
