RICS Hull & East Yorkshire Gains Firm Foothold

Delaney Marling Partnership - Construction Monitoring For Residential Lettings

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Hull & East Yorkshire Local Association has a firm foothold in the region and is now attracting large numbers to its events.

A Christmas event held at Gosschalks Solicitors received over sixty property professionals who came along to hear about lease renewals and dilapidations to commercial properties.

Ben Hamilton from RICS North and Midlands said:

“This was a fantastic event to finish 2014, a true testament to the hard work of the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Association committee. This group works very hard to support RICS members on both sides of the Humber and I am excited for their plans in 2015 which include more CPD and networking events on a broad variety of topics relating to the property and construction industry.”

Claire Hill, from Gosschalks Solicitors in Hull said:

“There is clearly a strong appetite amongst local property professionals for well targeted training events which create an opportunity to add to their knowledge base and discuss best practice with other professionals.”

“We are looking forward to arranging future events on topics of interest including the assessment of dilapidations claims and important estate management issues such as tenant default, break clauses, alienation and lease renewals.”

Simon Delaney, Chartered Surveyor at Delaney Marling Partnership Ltd is on the RICS Hull and East Yorkshire Association committee. He said:-

“Each event proves to be more and more popular as people in the Hull and Humber region understand the value of the contribution towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD).”

“RICS Humber & East Yorkshire Local Association is making it easier for local businesses to train closer to home, and offers an array of training, guidance and education in land, property and construction. We like to make sure attendees leave with an expanded knowledge of property handling.”
