CCTV images have been released showing two men that were seen to enter the Tesco supermarket on Morton Lane in who police would like to speak to.

They went to the wines and spirits aisles and placed several bottles of alcohol in their trolley. They made an attempt to conceal the bottles with multi-packs of crisps.

One man then left the store alone, the second attempted to leave the store with a full trolley without paying for any of the items. He was confronted by a member of staff as the security alarm was activated. The man ran out of the store and was unable to be detained.

The incident took place at 1715hrs (5.15pm) on Tuesday 7 October 2014.

Both men are described as about 6 ft tall, one was of slim build the other of a more stocky build. They were both are though to be of North African descent.
