Rugby Players Pull Together To Support A Good Cause

A rugby league game took place at Beaver Park this week that saw the East Yorkshire Warriors take a Beverley RUFC select 13.

Over £500 was raised for SEN School a charity that helps children with special needs.

It was the Warriors who won the match 38-20 but the real winner on the day was the charity as the game made them £540 from tickle sales and prize draw.

Aaron Clark who helped organise the game said;

“A very special thanks has to Craig Montague for supplying the kit and also refereeing the Game.”

“I would also like to Dave & Mandy Price for hosting the event and Bob Tallat for helping me with the team, not to mention everyone who played, attended and donated.”
