Julie Good Retires From Beverley Board

Former Non-Executive and Vice-Chairman, Julie Good has retired from the Beverley Building Society Board of Directors after 11 years of service. During this time, the Society has seen assets increase by over £100 million.

Sue Symington, a former HR Director of Bettys who is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has extensive experience working in leadership and governance roles has now joined the Society’s board.

Currently Sue is a Non-Executive Director of Harrogate and District Foundation Trust, the Vice Chair of The Independent Advisory Panel at The Army Foundation College in Harrogate and the Chair of Pollards Hill Community Committee for Moat Housing. Alongside these roles, Sue also runs her own successful business in Knaresborough.

Sue said;

“The Beverley is an extremely customer focused organisation and I can draw many parallels to my previous roles. I am extremely excited to start working with my new colleagues and hope that my addition can add to the strength of the Board.”
