Looking to do something different this Bank Holiday? You really ought to take the family to the second Game and Country Fair on the 24th & 25th August, at the easy to find, award-winning Driffield Showground.
Organised and promoted by the team behind the renowned Driffiled Show, this year’s Game Fair really is not to be missed and gives a perfect introduction to country life.
There’s loads of things to see and do, including our main ring entertainment of the Savage Skills Mountain Bike stunt team, Essex dog display, Hunsley Beacon Beagles, lurcher display and Birds of Prey. Peter Leadbeater will also be demonstrating his chainsaw carving which you have to see to believe!
Added to the game related, craft and plenty of local food stalls to explore, there’s the opportunity to try new and exciting food from our wide range of catering stands. Bouncy castles and game stalls will be onsite to keep the children entertained.
The Game and Country Fair is the ideal place for you to test your dog’s agility skills with working gun dog trials from David Sisson’s and gun dog scurries from Kirkbourne Spaniels, who will also be demonstrating their own dogs in the main ring.
The fun dog show will be open to all ages with several categories including best trick and fancy dress. There are prizes on offer all weekend for our dog competitions.
Fancy testing your own skills? Why not come and have a go at our archery and laser clay pigeon shooting activities.
Car parking is free all weekend and camping is available priced at £10 per pitch if you can’t fit everything into one day.
