ReConnected Rock Longcroft School With Mini Live Show

Students from enjoyed a lunch break with a difference as boy-band ReConnected put in an appearance to showcase their new single.

The group first shot to fame on the hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent under the name Connected in 2010 finishing fourth overall at the time with five members.

Now with just three members in the band, Harry Mondryk, Max Mondryk and Matthew Fitzgerald and under their new name, the lads entertained a screaming audience performing their new single One in a Million.

Music teacher Amy Kelly said;

“The guys are here to promote a new single, for us as a school it is good to have them, as and you can the students are loving it.”

“Each of the pupils has paid 50p today to get in which will help the school fund other music projects that benefit the pupils.”

On 19 September, the band announced it had signed to RKA Records, a label which was founded by Ryan Ashmore and his friend Liam Webb.

The label is part owned by Duncan Bannatyne after RKA Records appeared on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

Local DJ Robert Campey was also at the performance when asked if he would be playing the ReConnected at his next gig he said;

“Just look around people are going mad for them, I can safely say ReConnected are now on my play list.””

After the performance, the lads from the band took time out to pose for photos and sign autographs.
