Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust at “Donna Nook” is home to one of the largest colonies of breeding Grey Seals in Britain.
Well over 1000 Seal pups can be born during November and December and is statistically one of the safest places for Seal pups to be born and survive.
Most surprisingly the Seals share their home with the military as Donna Nook is a fully operational R.A.F bombing range, yet the Seal colonies never seem to be undisturbed by the planes and bombs, though the military do stop or at least restrict the bombing during the Seal pup season.
