New Member Of The Executive Team At The Beverley Building Society

The Beverley Building Society is delighted to announce the promotion of Pam Dowse to the Executive team. Pam has worked at the Beverley Building Society for nineteen years where she started as a cashier.

She was quickly promoted to Customer Services Manager before being appointed to the position of Accounts Manager.

Her new position as Head of Shared Services means that as well as her financial duties, she will also be responsible for Human Resources and Marketing.

The Beverley Building Society has contributed to local employment by offering roles to a Business Administration apprentice, an Accounting graduate and a Marketing graduate.

Pam, who has lived in the Beverley area for 30 years, is a keen advocate of the Building Society’s involvement in the local community, she said:

“It’s satisfying to work for an organisation that has such a positive attitude towards supporting the local area. The Beverley Building Society is different to any other place I have worked; the staff are very passionate about the Society and the services we provide to our members”.

Aside from her responsibilities at work, Pam enjoys cycling, is a keen skier and general fitness fanatic. She also has two grown-up children, a son who is a graphic designer working in London and a daughter who is a multimedia journalist working in China.

Asked about Pam’s promotion to the executive team, Peter Myers, Chief Executive of the Society said:

“Pam has broad leadership experience and I look forward to working with her as we continue to build the Society’s capability.”
