Glitterbugwishes to Host a Masquerade Ball

Masquerade Charity Ball, to be held at Tickton Grange Hotel, near Beverley on Sunday 15th May 2011.

Local business woman Lisa Martin from Glitterbugwishes an online gift boutique in Beverley, is to host a masquerade charity ball in the rose room at Tickton Grange Hotel on Sunday the 15th May 2011. The ball will benefit four national charities.

The Stroke Association
The British Skin Foundation
Help For Heroes

The charities have a special significance for Glitterbugwishes owner Lisa Martin as Lisa’s three oldest children were all diagnosed with autism at birth. They will require a lifetime of specialist support to enable them to live full and varied lives. Her mum who was a vibrant and larger than life character suffered three major strokes at the age of 41, and her husband who is a Warrant Officer in the Armed Forces has had three operations and skin grafts to remove skin cancer.

By hosting the Masquerade Ball Lisa is hoping to raise awareness, support and much needed funds to enable all of these charities to continue to help and support other families like hers.

The Masquerade Ball will be a night of fine dining and music with guests receiving a welcome drink on arrival, a three course dinner and after dinner coffee complemented by the famous Tickton Grange Truffles.

It will be a spectacular night of entertainment featuring local 5 piece band Reloaded, local DJ Justin Addison, Burlesque Performances from Misty Vie vavoom, Doc-Leroc and Eva Von Sparkle. Guests will be able to have photographs taken on the night by local photographer Stuart Clennett from Meadow Studios Leven.

Raffle prizes will include a photography session, manicure, gift vouchers, handcrafted jewellery and many more all donated by local businesses.
