Beverley Lions Market Cross Xmas Lights Switch On

The Beverley Lions Market Cross Xmas Lights will be switched on at 3-00pm on Saturday 20th November by the Mayor of Beverley Councillor Bessie Foot and the President of the Beverley Lions Club Paul James.

The service will be conducted by Reverend Dianne Finch with the Introit of Silent Night by Janet Bates and carol singing by the children from the Beverley Minster County Primary School to music provided by Peter Spencer.

Following the switch on ceremony the Beverley Church Lads and Girls Brigade Band together with Bertie Beaver will then lead the parade to light the Beverley Town Council and Chamber of Trade Xmas trees at Cross St, Wednesday Market and Angel Square where the Beverley Brass Band will playing for community singing  accompanied by various school choirs and the Beverley Male Voice Choir.
