Terriers Exit Cup to Sculcoates

Molescroft Terriers faced a tough test as they entertained Sculcoates in the cup at Thurlow.

The Terriers went into the game as massive under dogs and were given the option to forfeit the tie though manager Dave Bur opted to play.

Molescroft lost the game 6 – 0 though they fought hard throughout. The result could have been much worse without the heroics of Terriers keeper Will Dodds.

Coach Glynn Lockyer was full of praise for the team saying;

“We could have taken the easy option and not played the game though we faced up to the challenge. Although we lost, both myself and Dave are extremely pleased with how the team performed. We wish Sculcoates well, they are a fantastic side who play good football, they will be very difficult for any team to beat.”
