Rain Storm in Beverley

Yesterday evening Beverley was hit by a rain storm, these pictures were taken on Manor Road near the junction of St Mary’s Walk where the road was completely flooded, cars seemed to cope though the pedestrians had a much tougher journey home.

The homes on Manor Road were some of those that were flooded badly in Beverley Floods of June 2007 and many were watching out of their windows as car after car sent water towards their homes a the drains struggled to cope with the water.
