Limited numbers of tickets are still on sale for the ever-popular Book Night 2020 events in .

The event returns in February for an evening of games, crafts, and fun. There will be readings, the Sorting Hat ceremony, the Polyjuice Potion Game, and Ancient Runes Lessons!

There will also be a chance to take part in a game of Quidditch (indoor version) and a magical beast hunt.

Librarian Kimberley Harston said;

Book Night is one of the most popular events of the year in . It’s a great chance to put on your outfits, maybe bring your wand, and have a fantastic evening out.”

: 6 February : 6pm-7pm and 8 February : 2.30pm -3.30pm

Bridlington Central Library: 5 February : 4,30pm – 5.30pm

Cottingham Library : 4 February : 6pm-7pm

Driffield Centre : 3 February : 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Petuaria Centre, Brough  : 6 February : 4.15pm-5.15pm

Goole Library: 5 February : 5.30pm -6.30pm

Hedon Centre : 6 February : 6pm-7pm

Hessle Centre : 4 February : 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Hornsea Library : 6 February : 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Howden Centre : 5 February : 5.30pm – 6.30pm

North Bridlington Library : 6 February : 6pm-7pm

Pocela Centre, Pocklington : 6 February : 6pm-7pm

Centre : 4 February : 6pm-7pm

Willerby Library :  6 February : 4.30pm-5.30pm

Kilham Mobile Library : 6 February : 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Tickets must be booked in advance and are available either online at www.eastridinglibraries.co.uk/whats-on or in the libraries themselves and cost £4 each.

For those who are potty for Potter –  there will be a chance to pass through platform 9 3/4 to reach Hogwarts (known to muggles as ) on Tuesday, 4 February, for ’ first-ever Quiz Night.
