Scott Taylor and his side will be looking to continue their impressive home form and make it three straight wins.
This is a crucial game for the Beverley. The sides separated by just one place in the league. Also, there is just a single point between them. A positive result for Beverley would see them climb above Crosfields.
Furthermore, if Beverley wants to be taken as serious playoff contenders this is exactly the type of match they need to win.
Speaking ahead of the game Taylor says while the season may be a testing one, it will benefit the club in the long term.
“This season has been something of a reality check for us compared to last season. However, youngsters have been given their chance.”
“For example, we had two 17-year-old players and also one 18-year-old in the side last week. We will be stronger in the long term for this.”
Taylor Will Welcome Back Key Players To Beverley Squad
Taylor will look to his squad once again as he looks to pick his squad for the game. He is likely to be missing Jack Howdle for the remainder of the season. Howdle sustained an ankle injury against Wigan St Judes.
It is not all bad news for Taylor. Lewis Poskitt, Josh Poskitt, Alex Starling and Lewis Straw are available again.
If the form book is anything to go by this should be a nailed on home win. Crosfields are yet to register a win on the road this season losing to East Leeds and Askham.
Beverley’s home form has been impeccable with the Leisure Centre proving to be a fortress. With two wins already and having won their home games last season, this is not a place sides tend to like to visit.
