The Evans Halshaw team was on hand at the event, which took place at the Beverley Leisure Centre, to help The Beverly Barracudas meet their fundraising target by contributing some much needed funds to help cover the costs of the swim team’s kit.
Dealer Principal, Aron Brown, commented:
“We’re delighted to be able to offer support to The Beverley Baracudas and help them raise some much needed funds. The team has over 80 members aged under 18 and we know how costly kitting a team out can be, not to mention the cost of pool hire. We’re happy we’re in a position that we can help contribute to this and we love to support local communities and groups where we can.
“Our team loves the chance to get involved with local events and our display cars always create a buzz. In fact I think the Black Edition Corsa was a welcome distraction for some as they waited nervously for their event.”
What’s more, the Evans Halshaw team were on the side-lines to offer encouragement to the 300 swimmers from across the Yorkshire area who took the plunge and competed in the gala.
Evans Halshaw Beverley also brought a contingent of customers to cheer along the Barracudas, who fought off tough competition from 12 other teams to finish in second place, narrowly missing out to team Kippax.
As well as a generous donation to help support the event, Evans Halshaw Beverley offered an eye-catching display for attendees to enjoy when it showcased the awe-inspiring black Limited Edition Corsa outside the leisure centre, generating interest from local swimmers and parents alike.
