The blue and golds will return to action this Saturday with a tough fixture away to West Bowling.
The Bradford based outfit took advantage of Beverley’s weekend off last Saturday to leapfrog them in the table. Therefore, the match will be an intriguing contest pitting 3rd against 4th in the table.
Both sides met earlier in the season at the Beverley Leisure Centre and were separated only by Jack Humphrie’s late drop goal in a 15-14 win for Beverley.
Pat Howdle and Scott Taylor know that their side must be at their best to claim a win that would certainly set down a marker for the rest of the season and make them serious contenders for the top four play-offs. Kick-off is 2.30pm at the Emley Recreation Ground.
Meanwhile, attention is focused on the future. Youngsters aged 7 to 9 (years 2,3 and 4) are encouraged to attend coaching sessions taken by Hull FC as part of their community work.
Sessions take place at Longroft School 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Monday 4th July and 11th July. The coaching is free of charge. Further information can be obtained from Neil Gay on 07460898724.
