Harpers Launch Fish Supper Delivery Service

Harpers Fish & Chips in Beverley are offering a new service that allows people to order Fish and Chips and have them delivered right to their door.

Michael Mitchinson, a partner in Harpers and also the manager of their Beverley branch said;

“We are now offering an evening delivery service, this can be done either by phoning the shop on 01482 867148 or by using our new online site www.hungercalls.co.uk”

“Not only do we deliver in Beverley but also a 5 mile radius which includes all the local villages. We are the first company to offer fish and chips delivered in Beverley.”

“For the time being we are offering the service from 5pm 7 days a week, if proving popular we may offer lunchtime slots as well.”

Customers who order online will not be subjected to fees for ordering through the internet, Mr. Mitchinson explained;

“Unlike JustEat that charges 50p per transaction we don’t charge the customer any additional fees to use the service. However we do charge £1 for delivery and minimum order is £10.”

“You can select online whether you would like to pay cash on delivery or by card online. You can also use the service to order food to collect yourself in store.”

In the UK consumers  spend a staggering a staggering £1.2 billion chomping their way through 382 million portions of fish and chips every year.

According to the National Federation of Fish Friers, as a meal Fish and chips make a balanced, nutritious dinner. Offering a valuable source of protein, fibre, iron and vitamins.

For now anyone living in Beverley and the surrounding villages can have their fish supper delivered to their home.
