Hull’s golden boy Luke Campbell was greeted by big crowds at the official weigh in tipping the scales at 9 st 8lb 11oz ahead of his professional boxing début.
Campbell will step into the ring in front of around 9,000 fight fans for The Homecoming this Saturday at the MS3 Craven Park.
Today in Queens Gardens, Hull Campbell who shot to global fame after winning a gold medal on London 2012 looked as cool as ice as he stepped onto the scales in front of the world’s media.
Campbell will take on journeyman Andy Harris but Harris is expected to give Campbell a good stiff test.
