Beverley Athletic Club was represented by junior and senior runners at the Cleethorpes Beach Cross-Country event last Sunday. It was cold, wet and windy but well worth the trip as the juniors won several prizes.
Nicole Dawson won the U17 girls’ race in 22:18.
Beverley dominated the U17 boys’ race and won the team prize. Harry Powell finished first in 18:52, Ethan Dalton was second and Curtis Arnott was fourth.
Beverley’s U15 girls also won the team prize. Lauryn Garwood finished second in 9:24 and was followed by Dayna Arnott in sixth place and Eleanor Boyd in ninth place.
In the U13 boys’ team competition Beverley finished second with Taylor Arnott, Jonathan Dennison and Jacob Chastney making up the team.
Beverley was represented by juniors and seniors in the junior/ senior/ veteran men’s race and finished fifth.
