Running Group Seeks New Members After 10k Achievements

Beverley running group ‘Run in Beverley’ are seeking new members to join after recent achievements in The Hall Construction races.

The women-only group, which is a social running group rather than an club, was originally set up a couple of years ago to encourage women in the Beverley area to try jogging. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength, with several members competing in the recent Beverley and 10k races.

Run In Beverley member said:

“The group has been a great way to get into running in a fun and relaxed way. We have a mix of members, from people new to running through to those who have run in the past and wanted to come back to it.”

The group meets at the Beverley Centre every Thursday at 7pm, and generally run between 3 and 6 miles, at a variety of paces. New members should meet in the café area of the Leisure Centre just before 7pm, or can email Lucy Holloway at lewisandlucy@lewisandlucy.karoo.co.uk for more information.

Running with the group is free of charge, and all are welcome.
